We want to provide a relaxed but elegant dining experience for all of our clients. We offer simple and traditional dishes that come packed full of delicious Greek flavors. We have excellent appetizers and rustic main courses that are sure to leave you full and happy. If you've never been to Greece, our food is the next best thing.
2. Do you use fresh ingredients?
Yes! We're a predominantly seafood restaurant and our location right on the Baltimore harbor ensures that we're always just a short walk away from fresh seafood and local ingredients. We have a fish of the day display as well where you can come and pick the fish you want to eat straight from the harbor itself!
3. Do you offer special events?
Yes! You can partake in our special events all year round. We have special wine tasting menus and other events which you can attend. Our guests are also welcome to book a private event at the Black Olive.We'll work with you to make sure you have a fantastic menu for your holiday party, corporate meeting, or another event.
4. What type of wine list do you have?
We have an extensive wine list that features a large selection of smooth and delicious wines from all over the world. We have Old World wines as well as a special selection of Greek wines that we can introduce you to. If you're not sure which wine would pair best with your food choice, you can ask our staff. We're happy to recommend the best wine to go with your meal.
5. Do you offer multiple course meals?
On our traditional lunch and dinner menu, you'll find selections for appetizers, soups, salads, entrees, and dessert. We also have delectable small plates and plates to share that you can order for your table. There are times where we'll also create tasting menus for special wine tasting dinners and private events. 6. Do I have to make a reservation?
Although we can seat most guests, we do recommend that you have a reservation if you're going to bring a larger party to dine with us or if you're coming in during a busier time such as weekend nights. We want to ensure that your party has seats available with a minimal wait time, and having a reservation can make the process go more smoothly.
